Apollo 200 System

The Apollo 200 System is a fully integrated sample preparation system for Human DNA Identification, providing automatic sample to DNA profile processing and evaluation.

The 8-channel Apollo 200 System will process up to eight samples including controls in less than two hours for human identity testing with Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis.

The Sample-to-Answer system processes buccal swabs; extracting DNA and performing Short Tandem Repeat (STR) amplifications and electrophoretic separations to generate full CODIS profiles.

MBI is actively developing the 8-channel system after successfully demonstrating the fully integrated and automated workflow in a 4-channel device. We are currently seeking laboratories that wish to collaborate in this development area.
